DR. EVELYN HENR\u00cdQUEZ VALLE\n<\/h3>\n\n\n

She is a Geriatrician and Gerontologist. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine at the Universidad \nDr. Jos\u00e9 Mat\u00edas Delgado. Even before beginning her university studies, she showed interest in the \ncare and attention of Older Adults, performing social hours and volunteering at Geriatric \nResidences during her high school years and throughout her university education. Her interest in \nproviding quality care to older adults led her to specialize in the field of Geriatrics and Gerontology \n \nat the Universidad Galileo in the Republic of Guatemala, achieving an outstanding CUM LAUDE \nperformance.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In the workplace, she has extensive experience in the management and care of older adults, \nhaving worked as a physician in geriatric residences, companies that provide care and \ncompanionship services for the elderly, among others.

\nThroughout the time she has worked closely with older adults, she noticed that in our country, like \nmany others in Latin America, proper attention is not given to the elderly. This led her to develop \nthe project \"Senior Citizen Clinic,\" which is now a reality. Her main goal is to provide \ncomprehensive geriatric care to older adults and their families. In addition to highlighting the \nimportance of older adults in society and the academic need to educate healthcare personnel \n(doctors, nurses, psychologists, etc.) to treat older people properly. \u201cCl\u00ednica del Adulto Mayor\u201d<\/strong>, el cual ahora es una realidad. Su objetivo principal es brindar una atenci\u00f3n geri\u00e1trica integral a los adultos mayores y sus familias. Adem\u00e1s de visibilizar la importancia que tienen los adultos mayores en la sociedad y la necesidad que hay a nivel acad\u00e9mico de educar a personal de servicios de salud (M\u00e9dicos, enfermer\u00eda, psicolog\u00eda, etc.), para dar un trato adecuado a las personas mayores.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
