COMPREHENSIVE GERIATRIC ASSESSMENT

  • At the Senior Citizen Clinic, a comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) is performed on all patients. The CGA is a multidimensional and interdisciplinary diagnostic process designed to identify and quantify the physical, functional, psychological, and social problems that the elderly may present.
  • The goal is to design an individualized preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitation plan, aiming to achieve the highest level of independence and quality of life for the older person.
